Had a blog reader contact me recently. He saw my French Napoleonic artillery and pointed me to his blog articles on how he makes toy cannons and spoked wheels. Must better stuff than mine, but he appears to be strictly a "build from scratch" type with a much better workbench than mine. Definitely worth a look though!

Thank you for the link. I've been trying to cut them out of the solid with a fretsaw and just can't get the spokes all the same size! Now I get to buy a new gadget for my drill.
